CHERYL COLE has a new crush – on Cameron Diaz. The Vogue cover girl been a busy woman of late, having recently landed her first ever film role – a cameo in comedy What To Expect When You’re Expecting, where she plays a talent show judge, acting alongside Diaz.

“Cameron is amazing, honestly I’ve got such a girl crush on her,” she told us. “She’s such an amazing woman. It’s just so good to be doing new stuff. I never had the confidence to do acting before, and I’ve said I could probably play myself quite well. It was brilliant, we’ll see what happens next.”

Meanwhile, talk turned to the impending London Olympics – and Cole, who admitted she was not the athletic type at school, said she thinks learning a certain sport now would have its advantages.

“If I could be good at any sport, it’d be javelin. I know a few people I would love to throw a spear at,” she laughed, too kind to reveal exactly who might be on the receiving end.
