THE 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards attracted a star-packed crowd in LA on Sunday night, and gave us the first chance to spot some spring/summer 2012 style on the red carpet.

Whetting our appetites for the new season, Gwyneth Paltrow donned an dress that was yet to even grace the catwalk – the fashion house will show the new collection in Milan this month – while Olivia Munn chose heremerald green gown straight from the designer’s  just last week.

Kate Winslet collected the Outstanding Lead Actress In A Mini-Series Or A Movie award in a scarlet gown, leading a long list of ladies in red, which included Lea Michele and Kerry Washington.

Notable winners included British drama Downton Abbey - collecting four statues – and the all-conquering Mad Men, which bagged the Best Drama award for the fourth year in a row.
